About This Plant

Like other goldenrods, Rough-stemmed Goldenrod produces late season, yellow flowers that bloom in cascading clusters. It prefers moist soil, but can tolerate a variety of soil types including sandy and rocky, as long as they stay moist. It attracts tons of pollinators and insects that feed on the foliage. It can spread aggresively and would do best in a larger space with other competitive plants.
