About This Plant

Also known by the Latin name Thalictrum polygamum, tall meadow rue prefers moist, but well-draining soils that are high in organic matter. In the wild, they grow in forested areas, marshes, wet meadows and stream or riverbanks. They produce tiny, white, star-shaped flowers on dioecious plants, meaning plants typically only have male or female flower parts, not both.
