About This Plant

Also known as green antelopehorn, this milkweed species tolerates much drier soils and usually only grows about one foot tall. It doesn't like competition from other vegetation. It is a host plant to monarch butterflies and grows best in soils with high organic matter. Its blossom is a cluster of green flowers with pink centers.
