About This Plant
Formerly known by the latin name Aster umbellatus, Flat-Topped White Aster produces many long lasting cream-colored blooms that dull to a light yellow as they age. It blooms earlier than most asters, in July, and does well in moist soils with full sun.

Mammals and larger bird species enjoy eating the foliage of Flat-Topped White Aster, so it is best to grow fenced in until it is well established.
