About This Plant

Recommended for home landscapes, this baptisia species has charcoal-gray stems, blue-green leaves, and white, pea-like blossoms on long spikes. It grows quickly and helps to fix nitrogen in the soil, making atmospheric nitrogen available to plants. It is also a host plant to many species of butterflies and moths.
