About This Plant

Recommended for home landscapes, this plant is great as a solo specimen plant or in mass, although it is slow-growing. As a member of the pea family, which is apparent from its flowers and leaves, it has deep roots that can help fix nitrogen in the soil. It is a long-lived plant that produces black seed pods that look good in dried flower arrangements.
