About This Plant

Water Celery is an evergreen, perennial aquatic with bright green, ribbon-like leaves that grow in clusters. Leaves are about 1 inch wide. The plant produces a single, white flower which grows to the water's surface on a long stalk. Water Celery is a valuable food source for diving ducks and provides shelter for fish and aquatic invertabrates.
