About This Plant

Unique, complex, multi-colored flowers grace this short bee balm. It does well in home landscapes, and it is less aggressive and more drought-tolerant than other Monarda species. Like other bee balms, it has a square-stem, and its leaves smell minty when crushed. It's definitely one you want in your landscape!
