About This Plant

Predominately red, down-facing flowers are tipped with yellow. Hummingbirds and long-tongued bees are particularly drawn to columbine, which is an adaptable plant and can even grow under evergreen trees. It readily reseeds, and it may take two years for blossoms to appear on plants.
