Common Bladderwort is a perennial aquatic bladderwort that gorws suspended with not roots. Bright yellow flowers bloom throughout the summer, and significantly larger than other similar species. It can grow aggressively and may need to be maintained often to control its spread.
Common Bladderwort is a carniverous plant that uses its bladders as elaborate traps. When a small organism brushes hairs near a bladder pore, the pore’s tiny door opens inward and water rushes inside, carrying the organism with it.
