About This Plant

An attractive plant for drier soils, fire pink likes dabbled shade. Its bright red flowers are magnets for hummingbirds. The plant's sepals are sticky presumably to deter ants from feeding on the nectar. While each plant is short-lived, it self sows and will sustain itself in ideal habitats.
