About This Plant

Meadowsweet is adorned with spikes of delicate, fragrant white flowers that bring in the pollinators. The center of the flower may vary in color from white to yellow to orange and pink. This small shrub is in the Roseaceae (Rose) family and does well in wet soils. Plant it in full sun for the best growth and prolific blooms, but make sure it doesn't dry out. It is a host plant for many species, and some birds will use this shrub for nesting and food.
