About This Plant
A plant of many names, this hardy species does well in moist soils and is great for riparian buffer plantings. White flowers give way to purple drupes that wildlife will consume, however, winter is this shrub's time to shine. Its bright reddish-purply stems are an amazing shock of color in the drab, winter landscape. This dogwood will spread, creating colonies. It's also easy to start new plants from live stem cuttings.
