About This Plant

Bright red and orange flowers bloom from erect, slightly fuzzy stems that grow between one and two feet tall. Native throughout the U.S., this plant can be perennial in warmer climates and annual in cooler ones. It's common around beaches and dunes and is tolerant to drought, heat, and salt.
