About This Plant

Used as an ornamental tree for its rounded crown, low branches and vibrant red fall foliage, red oak is a "Keystone Plant" with extremely high wildlife value, although it takes at least 20 years to produce acorns. Leaves have 7-11 bristle-tipped lobes.
