About This Plant

Virgin's Bower is a woody, perennial vine in the buttercup family that produces white, showy flowers. Unlike many other vines, Virgin's Bower will flower in shaded areas, but prefers full to partial sun. After blooming, female plants produce feathery seed heads that are said to resemble an old man's beard. It grows and climbs rapidly, and attracts a number of pollinators.
