About This Plant

A fast growing tree, it does best in well drained soils, but can thrive in dry soil after it is established. Easy to transplant, it can be used as street trees and in lawns or commercial areas because of its adaptability. Birds and mammals will feed on its seeds. Unfortunately, Green Ash is highly suseptible to the invasive Emerald Ash Boarer, and it has a low chance of survival.
