About This Plant

Unique, five-lobed "star-shaped" leaves adorn these pyramidal trees, which are moderateely fast growing and have gorgeous autumn foliage of many colors. They produce a spiny "gum ball" fruit, which is painful to step on in bare feet, but attractive to birds and mammals that eat the seed.
