About This Plant

These bluish-black fruits make excellent jams, jellies, and more, while they're also favored by wildlife. The white flower clusters attract bees, wasps, butterflies and beetles. The shrubs prefer moist, edge habitats and will spread by root suckers to form colonies, unless they're nipped.
