About This Plant

Essentally our native coral bells, alumroot is a small, mounding plant with heart-shaped foliage that grows to heights 12-15" and then tiny, white, bell-shaped flowers bloom on a long stem that shoots another 6-10" above the foliage. The leaves will persist through winter, although frost heaving may lift the roots. It's an excellent groundcover or border plant and does well in rock gardens.
