About This Plant

Long-lived blooms on this spring ephemeral make it a lovely woodland garden addition. The white "petals" are actually sepals, which help protect its pollen. Quinquefolia means "five-leaved" and refers to the deeply lobed, toothed leaves that usually, but not always, come in sets of five.
